Are you looking for more information on topics such as (re)entering the workforce, disclosure in the workplace, and or workplace accommodations?

HIV, Employment and Human Rights workshops for people living with HIV will be held Wednesday February 17, 2010 in Calgary, Wednesday March 17, 2010 in Winnipeg and Tuesday March 30, 2010 in St. John's.

Each workshop is planned by people living with HIV, for people living with HIV and will involve people living with HIV. Topics for the workshops were selected to meet local needs and involve local speakers.

Participants will have opportunities to:

  • Learn how other people living with HIV have overcome employment challenges
  • Learn about local employment resources
  • Ask questions about returning to work and staying at work
  • Learn more about the national network on employment issues for people living with HIV
  • Network with other people living with HIV with a variety of employment backgrounds

Each workshop will have four sessions. Each session is approximately 90 minutes.

The workshops may focus on topics of relevance to those living in the host province.

There is no charge to attend a workshop.  Lunch is provided. 

There are a limited number of spaces available and registrants who meet the criteria will be registered based on when the application was submitted.
