The Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation (CWGHR) warmly welcomes Martine Mangion as our new Manager, Episodic Disabilities Initiatives.  

Before joining CWGHR, Martine was a consultant within the corporate communications team at Hill & Knowlton Toronto. She specialized in providing counsel on corporate social responsibility initiatives, developing strategic philanthropy programs, planning and executing global advocacy campaigns and stakeholder relations.

Prior to that, Martine worked as an account manager at Me to We: Responsible Style, a social enterprise producing eco-ethical clothing made in Canada. Martine has also worked as a consultant at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). In this capacity, she was responsible for providing strategic counsel to UNFPA country offices in Africa, Asia and Latin America on issues surrounding adolescent sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, treatment and care, and poverty reduction.

Martine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and English from the University of Malta, and a Master’s of Science in International and Comparative Education from the University of Oxford.
